Both novels are lighter than my three published ones. They're easy bed-time reading. They're fun rather than thought-provoking (although maybe some thoughts will be provoked too).

The first, Yellow Brick Road, is set in Cilltubber, Co Cork. You may remember that that town featured in both Looking Good and Loving Lucy.

It features three sisters: Imelda, Laura and Clare. Each, in her own way, is still in thrall to their domineering mother Dympna. And each doesn't even really realise how in thrall she is. But then a catalyst occurs in the form of new arrivals to the town. Those new arrivals will shake everything up. But does Imelda have the courage to pursue this new way of being? Will Laura gain enough faith in her own intelligence to break free? And will Clare manage to open her heart enough in order to allow love to enter? Read the first chapter here.

The second novel, Grace Under Pressure, features Grace Devlin. She has it all, but a long ago even leads her to be unable to value it. And in seeking to find what she wants, she loses all that she has. And only then does she realise its value. She determines to recover it, but can eggs be unscrambled?
