About Me

I'm in my forties, married to a wonderful dear man called Peter who spoils me beyond reason, and am mother to my darling 12 year old son, whose name is Tadhg. (Tadhg is an Irish name, and is pronounced like the first syllable of the word 'tiger'.)

I'm busy because as well as being a novelist (you can find out more about my novels and my writing career here), I'm also home-educating Tadhg. That's a true adventure, and I have grown and learned so much through that.

I'm also a practitioner in EFT, which I'm sharing with you on this website since it's the ultimate cure for writer's block! with, obviously, a special interest in using it to help writers.

What else?

Oh yes, I live in Ireland. I'm involved with the building of Ireland's first eco-village, and this is an adventure all by itself.

My hobbies are writing, personal growth, walking and cycling, and (when I get time) watercolour painting. I'm also quite partial to the odd bit of socialising - I do like my friends and the fun we have together.
