22 Ways To Rethink A Story

The e-book 22 Ways To Rethink A Story
and its companion book 44 Ways to Fracture A Fairytale are an absolute gem of a resource.
They're aimed at writers of children's stories but in all seriousness will apply to writers of all kinds of
stories, which is why I'm recommending it here.
The author, Steve Barancik, uses the example of The Three Little Pigs to show how by changing different
elements of the story (e.g. viewpoint, or protagonist - and many others), you can make a more interesting and
compelling story.
Since reading these books my own mind is buzzing with possibilities for my own Work In Progress, and I bet you
that you won't be able to read this without the same thing happening to you.
And you know what they say: The best way to have a good idea is to have lots of ideas. 22 Ways To
Rethink A Story is your passport to having loads of ideas. I recommend it unreservedly.
It's only $24.95, less than a dollar a suggestion (and in case you think my maths is off, in truth it's Steve's
maths that's off as there are 28 ideas in a book promising 22 ideas! This was done deliberately as he explains
on his website). There's a 60-day money back guarantee, so you're risking nothing
to check it out.
One word of warning: don't judge the quality of the books by the website. It's not the best laid out or calmest
looking website I have to admit. But as I say, don't judge based on that - the books are excellent!
